6-3 The WWF camp
|
The camp on the Ivindo is intended to be the operating base for all WWF Minkebe project activities. It will provide lodging for park rangers, anti-poaching brigades and researchers. Perhaps in the future there will also be room for a few passing tourists. We remained for a day partly to test various bits and pieces. The hammocks for example. These were not a success. You should be able to lie horizontally in a good hammock, but that did not work at home and also not now.
